Washing machine noisy on spin — what to do

During spin the machine starts loud humming, banging or squealing. Noise grows with RPM — at 800–1200 rpm it becomes unbearable.

Sometimes the machine jumps across the floor, hits cabinet walls. On wash and rinse it may be quiet — problem only on spin.

Drum bearing — most common cause of spin rumble. Seal leaks → water enters bearing → rust, play, loud «roar» or grinding.

Signs: noise only at high RPM, drum wobbles when pushed by hand, sometimes leak at bottom (seal).

Bearing and seal replacement — from ~350,000–500,000 UZS (tub disassembly). Don't delay — destroyed bearing damages tub and spider.

Shock absorbers wear out — drum hits cabinet on spin. Knocking, banging heard, machine jumps.

Test: push drum from top — if it bounces more than 2–3 cm or doesn't return smoothly — shocks are weak.

Pair of shocks replacement — from ~180,000–300,000 UZS. On older models — springs instead (weak springs give same effect).

Drive belt slips or wears — squeal, slaps, weak spin. Drum pulley cracked — rhythmic knock every revolution.

Coins, keys, buttons in drum or pump filter — clinking and knocking. Check pockets before wash, inspect drain pump filter.

Belt replacement — from ~150,000 UZS, pulley — from ~150,000–180,000 UZS. Foreign object — free if no mechanism damage.

One heavy item (blanket, rug) throws balance — machine jumps and bangs, UE / UB error. Not a fault, but kills shocks and bearing if repeated.

Uneven floor or unadjusted feet — vibration transfers to cabinet. Check level, add rubber pads.

Fix: redistribute laundry, don't overfill drum, adjust feet. If noise on every load — it's mechanical.
